Embossing Folders

An embossing folder is a translucent plastic folder featuring a raised design on one side and a matching recessed design on the other. To use it, you place a piece of cardstock inside the folder and pass it through a manual or digital die-cutting machine. The high pressure from the machine presses the paper into the design, creating a crisp, raised 3D pattern on your paper.

This simple technique adds instant texture and elegant dimension to handmade cards, scrapbooks, and paper crafts.
